we should protect them from any negative situation.

as a parents, of course that we want to see our children success in their life and to cope what they wish for.

so it is a waste if children with a potential have been kidnap and vanish. who knows maybe one of the kidnapping victim is the one who can be a wise leader for the future. and yet, it is too late for us to regret.

Some guidelines to prevent child kidnapping!!!

Firstly, you should remind your child that she or he to always stay in group at least in two or more people. Kidnappers are less likely to trying abduct children if there are witnesses around.

Always tell your child to change their specific way that they always use when they want to go to the bus stop or from their friends’ house. It is good to have one or more ways to get to then destination that you are going to. Child kidnappers usually will stalk first and wait for a time and location where it’s easiest to abduct your child.

More important is, avoid your child from walking or biking in dark areas, wooded paths, alleys, and back roads that have hardly any traffic.

Parents should always keep an eye out for suspicious vehicles that you see everyday. For example, if you see the same red car everyday or even every other day constantly, this could be someone is looking for specific type of child to kidnap. Think about it how often do you normally notice the same vehicle everyday near your house.

Always remind your children about two things; if someone grab them, make sure they scream and hit the kidnappers private parts at the same time. A kidnapper only has two arms; he can’t carry you, cover your child mouth and protect his/her private parts all at the same time.

Also tell your children never for any reason go towards someone car, van or truck. They will be trying to get your child near a vihicles so when you scream or kick for the private parts at the same time...they have a better chance of taking your child.

Very important, you must know which routes your kids walk or bike to their friends house or to school. If someone were to take them, you would know what roads they were walking por biking on. This way you can tell the police exactly where to look for witnesses.

Parents also must get to know your neighbours!!!! Especially people in your immediate neighbourhood or subdivision. This is important for two reasons;
so you can know which people you feel comfortable and deem appropriate for your children to be near.
Also you can set up “save houses” for your children to run to if an emergency with them or you should take place.

It is a great investment to enroll your child in at least a basic self-defense course. Most courses or karate schools are pay-as-you-go, so you can quit even after a couple of months. Usually with about-your child can learn successful self-defense tactics.

It is great idea to practise defense tactics with your children. Go over a plan of what your children will do if they are approached or grabbed by someone. Make sure they know what they will do, God forbid they even have to use it.

How to Prepare a Child Kidnapping Emergency Plan

No one wants to think about it because it's a parent's worst nightmare: your child is kidnapped. Prepare now to have all the information at your fingertips and you'll save precious time and get the information to the authorities immediately. Not only will you increase the chances of finding your child alive, you'll save yourself untold stress during those horrific moments when you can't possibly think clearly.
Step1
Don't wait! The moment you feel that sinking feeling and panic, call the police and trust your instincts, even if it's only been 30, 60 or 90 seconds of separation from your child. Time is absolutely critical, so call 911 or your local police immediately. Have that number programmed into your cell phone or on your fridge for immediate access.
Step2
Contact a store manager immediately if you lose your child while shopping and be aggressive and insistent that they call police immediately. Have them lock down the entire store and issue an alert over the public announcement system. Have security wait by the exits.
Step3
Yell out for your child while you search them at a store, at home and in the yard, inviting him or her to go for ice cream together. Try to keep a calm excitement in your voice over the ice cream while you search. If they're truly hiding, they'll come out for ice cream, cake or another favorite treat. If they hear you frantically screaming for them to come out, they'll continue to hide out of fear of being in trouble.
Step4
Continue to search for your child inside while waiting for the police to arrive. At home, check the dryer, washing machine, dish washer, freezers, closets, under beds and anywhere else you think looks like an inviting hiding spot for children.
Step5
Search outside your immediate surroundings. Check obvious water sources such as pools, lakes and rivers, calling on neighbors to help as you search until police arrive. Search any abandoned cars, especially the trunks. Look up in trees, in leaf or hay piles, down in caves or near construction sites.
Step6
Prepare and give the responding officers your child's identification folder and all the information they request from you. You should have a folder with recent photos of your child, identifying scars, moles, or features, and current height and weight information.
Step7
Immediately request that your local law enforcement enter your child's information into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) Missing Person File.
Step8
Call 1-800-843-5678 , which is the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, after reporting your child missing with local law enforcement.
Step9
Be prepared to take polygraph tests as soon as possible. This may include you, if you were the last know person with your child, as well as other family members who may have been near your child at the time. Consult your lawyer, and submit to the polygraph as soon as possible.
Step10
Respond well to your local authorities and community as they search for your missing child. Draw strength and resolve from clergy, family, friends and the support of your entire community. Turn to the media on advice of local authorities and council. Respect the experts and do whatever it takes to get your child back alive.

how to keep your children safe

In order to keep children safe, you should practice basic stranger-safety procedures with your children and encourage other parents to follow your guidelines:

· Tell your children to always walk or play in groups. Predators search for isolated targets such as children who are walking alone or playing alone.
Share this important lesson with other parents.

· You should always know where your kids are going, even if they leave the house with another trusted adult. If your children spend time at their friends' homes, you should discuss a mutual child-watch plan with other parents.

· Keep a list of phone numbers of other nearby parents and offer your numbers to these parents. You can quickly check on the location of your children if needed.

· Teach your kids about strangers. Tell them that a stranger is any adult they do not know.Introduce your children to other parents you trust. Meet the children of these parents, so you will become a familiar face to the kids. Ideally, these children will be able to pick out a few friendly adults in a crowd of strangers.

· In addition to other parents, your kids should know which strangers are safe.
Store clerks, police officers, teachers, people who are behind desks in office buildings, mail-carriers and mothers with children are generally safe strangers.
Explain to your children that they can trust these strangers if they ever need help and they cannot locate an adult they recognize.
Teach your children that stores, schools, libraries and restaurants are all safe public places where they can run if they are in jeopardy.

· Teach your kids about the common lures used by abductors.
Often, a kidnapper appeals to victims by asking the child to help find a lost animal. Sometimes, the stranger will ask a child for directions. Occasionally, abductors know the child's name or the names of the child's parents. Perpetrators attempt to use this knowledge to gain the child's trust.
You should tell your children that adults ask other adults for help when they are truly searching for lost pets, or when they need any other type of assistance.

. Practice screaming with your children. If a stranger attempts to talk to or grab your children, your children should know to shout, "No!" or "Fire!"
Try to recruit the help of other parents. The group of your children can rehearse screaming at strangers by role-playing.
